About Shade Net-Security Fencing Screen

Many people in Nairobi and the surrounding counties come to us when they are putting up a house, running a construction site or setting up a farm. Shade Net-Security Fencing Screen is one of the products in our Fencing & Security range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Working with your fundi

For most items in this range, a good fundi will make a big difference. Show them the product page and talk about where it will go before they start work. Confirm what comes in the package and what extra parts, screws or fittings they may need to buy. Where the job involves heavy machines, height or electricity, use someone who is properly trained. Always follow the instructions that come with the product if they are provided.

Visiting our Nairobi showrooms

We serve builders, home owners and farmers in Nairobi and across Kenya. Whether you are building in Kitengela, putting up a fence in Ruai or setting up a dairy unit in the countryside, the same advice applies. Know what you need, know your sizes, and confirm the details. Please note that this page does not promise stock levels or delivery terms, so ask us about those when you are ready to buy.

Is it right for you?

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Fencing & Security range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

What you get

Here is the description we have for this item: Fences tend to offer more privacy, blocking your neighbors' view of your yard completely. A fence.... This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Look and finish

A finished job looks neat when the materials go well together. Before you buy, look at the walls, floors and other hardware already in place. Think about whether you want this item to blend in or to stand out. Only rely on the material and finish stated in the description, because something that looks like metal in a photo may be made of something else. When the look is important to you, confirm before you buy.

Keeping it clean

A little care goes a long way. Wipe the item down once in a while and keep it dry where possible. If you are not sure which cleaner to use, start with plain water and a soft cloth. Strong products like bleach can damage some finishes, so test them on a small hidden area first. Please note that this advice is general and is not a promise about how long the product will last.

Check the size before you buy

Sizes matter more than most people think. A product can look perfect in a picture and still be a little too big or too small for your site, wall or floor. So measure twice and buy once, as the old saying goes. If your fundi is around, ask them to take the measurements with you. They will know which points are important for this type of item and can spot problems early.

Planning your budget

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include labour, any extra accessories and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

More items to look at

Most projects need more than one item. While you are here, check out these other products: Privacy Nets/Security Net, Welded Razor Fence Mesh-30 M Length, Super Heavy Chainlink Fencing Chainlink 11g8080 7ft. You can also go back to the Fencing & Security section to see similar options. These are only suggestions, so please check each listing to make sure it suits your needs. For the full range, visit our shop page and take your time going through the categories.

Standards and building information

Some buyers like to do their own research, and that is a good habit. Two helpful Kenyan sources are the Kenya Bureau of Standards and the National Construction Authority. You will find general information about standards and building there. Please note that linking to them does not mean they have tested or approved this product.
