About Privacy Nets/Security Net

Many people in Nairobi and the surrounding counties come to us when they are putting up a house, running a construction site or setting up a farm. Privacy Nets/Security Net is one of the products in our Fencing & Security range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Price and value

The price you see on this page is for the item itself. Remember to also plan for things like fitting costs, extra parts and transport. Writing everything down in one budget helps you avoid surprises. If you are buying for a whole building or a big farm, make a full list with quantities. That way you can compare totals properly and decide where to spend more and where to save.

Buying in Nairobi

Many of our customers are busy contractors and project owners who want clear prices and honest product information without wasting time. That is what we try to give on every product page. You can visit our Homabay Road or Vision Plaza showroom from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. For buyers in other counties, the online shop lets you look at everything in your own time, then reach out to confirm availability.

A quick word on sizes

Sizes matter more than most people think. A product can look perfect in a picture and still be a little too big or too small for your site, wall or floor. So measure twice and buy once, as the old saying goes. If your fundi is around, ask them to take the measurements with you. They will know which points are important for this type of item and can spot problems early.

The details we have

Here is the description we have for this item: Privacy Screens add durable sun and wind protection to balconies, terraces and garden areas. With.... This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Looking after it

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

How it will look

Many of our customers in Nairobi like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Fencing & Security section to see a few styles side by side.

Fitting it properly

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the ground, wall or frame where the item will be used or fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

Who this is good for

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Fencing & Security range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

Standards and building information
