Wire Guage 3.5mm(9g) Roll length 18meters Roll height 7ft Mesh size 80×80 Barbed end finish

Many people in Nairobi and the surrounding counties come to us when they are putting up a house, running a construction site or setting up a farm. Super Quality Chainlink Fence - 9g(3.5mm 80×80 7ft) is one of the products in our Fencing & Security range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Is it right for you?

Not every product is right for every home, and that is okay. This one belongs to Fencing & Security, which gives you an idea of where it is normally used. If you are supplying a big site, you may care more about quantity and a fair price. If it is your own home or farm, you may care more about strength and finish. Decide what matters most to you, then check the listing against that list.

Price and value

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include labour, any extra accessories and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

Look and finish

A finished job looks neat when the materials go well together. Before you buy, look at the walls, floors and other hardware already in place. Think about whether you want this item to blend in or to stand out. Only rely on the material and finish stated in the description, because something that looks like metal in a photo may be made of something else. When the look is important to you, confirm before you buy.

What the listing says

Here is the description we have for this item: Wire Guage 3.5mm(9g) Roll length 18meters Roll height 7ft Mesh size 80×80 Barbed end finish. This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Buying in Nairobi

Nairobi keeps growing, with new estates, warehouses and commercial buildings coming up every year from Industrial Area to Mombasa Road, Syokimau and beyond. All this building needs steel, flooring, fencing and site equipment, and that is a big part of what we do. Our showrooms on Homabay Road off Enterprise Road and at Vision Plaza on Mombasa Road are easy to reach. If you are further away, you can still browse online and plan your list.

Looking after it

A little care goes a long way. Wipe the item down once in a while and keep it dry where possible. If you are not sure which cleaner to use, start with plain water and a soft cloth. Strong products like bleach can damage some finishes, so test them on a small hidden area first. Please note that this advice is general and is not a promise about how long the product will last.

Check the size before you buy

Sizes matter more than most people think. A product can look perfect in a picture and still be a little too big or too small for your site, wall or floor. So measure twice and buy once, as the old saying goes. If your fundi is around, ask them to take the measurements with you. They will know which points are important for this type of item and can spot problems early.

Before the fundi comes

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the ground, wall or frame where the item will be used or fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

More items to look at

Some customers also look at these products: High Security Mesh Fence (Anti Climb), Green Coated PVC Chainlink Fencing 11g Mesh 80*80 7ft, Super Quality PVC Coated-Chainlink 12.5g8080 7ft. Just remember that being listed together does not mean the items are made to work together, so check each one on its own. If you are shopping for a whole house, the main shop has everything sorted by category.
