Choosing hardware is easier when you have the right information in front of you. That is why we have put together this page for Multi Purpose Safety Nets (Security Net). Whether you are a home owner in Nairobi, a farmer upcountry or a contractor working somewhere in Kenya, the aim is the same: to help you pick the right item the first time and avoid the stress of going back and forth. Let us go through it together, step by step.

Who this is good for

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Fencing & Security range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

Keeping it clean

Cleaning depends on what the item is made of. Use a soft cloth and mild soap for regular cleaning unless the product instructions say otherwise. Avoid harsh chemicals and rough scrubbers until you know they are safe for the surface. Dust and mud are common on building sites and farms, so clean the item after heavy use. If anything becomes loose or stops working well, ask a fundi to check it as soon as you notice.

Money matters

Every project has a budget, big or small. Compare the price of this product with similar ones in the Fencing & Security section to see what fits your pocket. The cheapest option is not always the best value, and the most expensive is not always necessary. Think about how often the item will be used and how easy it will be to replace. Then pick the option that gives you peace of mind.

Check the size before you buy

One of the most common mistakes people make is buying something that does not fit. It happens a lot, and it is easy to avoid. Measure the old item if you are replacing one, and measure the space if it is a new installation. Keep all your measurements in the same unit, either centimetres or millimetres. Then compare them with what the listing says. When in doubt, send us your numbers and we will help you check.

The details we have

Here is the description we have for this item: Available in larger quantities. This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Before the fundi comes

Get your fundi involved early, even before you pay for the item. They can tell you if the product will work with your current setup and what else might be needed for the job. Do not assume that fixings, accessories or fuel are included unless the listing says so. Plan the work properly, wear the right safety gear, and keep the packaging and receipt until everything is working.

Look and finish

Many of our customers in Nairobi like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Fencing & Security section to see a few styles side by side.

Shopping from anywhere in Kenya

We serve builders, home owners and farmers in Nairobi and across Kenya. Whether you are building in Kitengela, putting up a fence in Ruai or setting up a dairy unit in the countryside, the same advice applies. Know what you need, know your sizes, and confirm the details. Please note that this page does not promise stock levels or delivery terms, so ask us about those when you are ready to buy.

Other products in the shop

Still not sure? Browse the rest of the Fencing & Security range to see what else is available. Some customers also look at these products: Green Coated Chainlink (Pvc), Chainlink Heavy Guages Fencing, Green Coated Chainlink (Pvc). Just remember that being listed together does not mean the items are made to work together, so check each one on its own. If you are shopping for a whole house, the main shop has everything sorted by category.

Where to read more

Some buyers like to do their own research, and that is a good habit. Two helpful Kenyan sources are the Kenya Bureau of Standards and the National Construction Authority. You will find general information about standards and building there. Please note that linking to them does not mean they have tested or approved this product.

We hope this page has made your choice a little easier. If Multi Purpose Safety Nets (Security Net) looks like the right fit, go ahead and add it to your cart.
