About Medium Guage 12.5g Chainlink

Many people in Nairobi and the surrounding counties come to us when they are putting up a house, running a construction site or setting up a farm. Medium Guage 12.5g Chainlink is one of the products in our Fencing & Security range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Money matters

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include labour, any extra accessories and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

Buying in Nairobi

Many of our customers are busy contractors and project owners who want clear prices and honest product information without wasting time. That is what we try to give on every product page. You can visit our Homabay Road or Vision Plaza showroom from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. For buyers in other counties, the online shop lets you look at everything in your own time, then reach out to confirm availability.

Before the fundi comes

Get your fundi involved early, even before you pay for the item. They can tell you if the product will work with your current setup and what else might be needed for the job. Do not assume that fixings, accessories or fuel are included unless the listing says so. Plan the work properly, wear the right safety gear, and keep the packaging and receipt until everything is working.

Where it fits best

Not every product is right for every home, and that is okay. This one belongs to Fencing & Security, which gives you an idea of where it is normally used. If you are supplying a big site, you may care more about quantity and a fair price. If it is your own home or farm, you may care more about strength and finish. Decide what matters most to you, then check the listing against that list.

Looking after it

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

Check the size before you buy

One of the most common mistakes people make is buying something that does not fit. It happens a lot, and it is easy to avoid. Measure the old item if you are replacing one, and measure the space if it is a new installation. Keep all your measurements in the same unit, either centimetres or millimetres. Then compare them with what the listing says. When in doubt, send us your numbers and we will help you check.

What the listing says

Here is the description we have for this item: Length 18meters Height 5fts Mesh 80×80 Finish barbed end Available in large quantities. This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

How it will look

Many of our customers in Nairobi like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Fencing & Security section to see a few styles side by side.

More items to look at

Most projects need more than one item. While you are here, check out these other products: Safety/Security Net 90%, 11gmesh80 ×80 7fts Height Chainlink Fencing Wire, Shade Net/Security Net. You can also go back to the Fencing & Security section to see similar options. These are only suggestions, so please check each listing to make sure it suits your needs. For the full range, visit our shop page and take your time going through the categories.
