If you have been looking for Light Guage 14g Chainlink( 2mm) by 6ft High, you are in the right place. Key Value Building Stores stocks a wide range of items for homes, farms and building sites in Nairobi and other parts of Kenya. This page gives you the main facts about this item and some practical advice so that you can buy with confidence. Read through it slowly, compare it with what you already have at home, and take note of anything you want to confirm before you pay.

Fitting it properly

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the ground, wall or frame where the item will be used or fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

Planning your budget

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include labour, any extra accessories and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

Look and finish

A finished job looks neat when the materials go well together. Before you buy, look at the walls, floors and other hardware already in place. Think about whether you want this item to blend in or to stand out. Only rely on the material and finish stated in the description, because something that looks like metal in a photo may be made of something else. When the look is important to you, confirm before you buy.

Simple care tips

A little care goes a long way. Wipe the item down once in a while and keep it dry where possible. If you are not sure which cleaner to use, start with plain water and a soft cloth. Strong products like bleach can damage some finishes, so test them on a small hidden area first. Please note that this advice is general and is not a promise about how long the product will last.

What you get

Here is the description we have for this item: Hot dipped Galvanized chainlink Guage 14g Wire thickness 2mm Mesh size 80×80 Roll length 18 meters. This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Take measurements first

One of the most common mistakes people make is buying something that does not fit. It happens a lot, and it is easy to avoid. Measure the old item if you are replacing one, and measure the space if it is a new installation. Keep all your measurements in the same unit, either centimetres or millimetres. Then compare them with what the listing says. When in doubt, send us your numbers and we will help you check.

Is it right for you?

Not every product is right for every home, and that is okay. This one belongs to Fencing & Security, which gives you an idea of where it is normally used. If you are supplying a big site, you may care more about quantity and a fair price. If it is your own home or farm, you may care more about strength and finish. Decide what matters most to you, then check the listing against that list.

Shopping from anywhere in Kenya

Nairobi keeps growing, with new estates, warehouses and commercial buildings coming up every year from Industrial Area to Mombasa Road, Syokimau and beyond. All this building needs steel, flooring, fencing and site equipment, and that is a big part of what we do. Our showrooms on Homabay Road off Enterprise Road and at Vision Plaza on Mombasa Road are easy to reach. If you are further away, you can still browse online and plan your list.
