Guage 11g Wire thickness 3mm Roll length 18 meters Mesh size 65×65 Galvanized Barbed end/finish

Many people in Nairobi and the surrounding counties come to us when they are putting up a house, running a construction site or setting up a farm. Heavy/Commercial Chainlink Fencing-11g (3mm)65×65 6ft is one of the products in our Fencing & Security range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Before the fundi comes

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the ground, wall or frame where the item will be used or fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

Check the size before you buy

Sizes matter more than most people think. A product can look perfect in a picture and still be a little too big or too small for your site, wall or floor. So measure twice and buy once, as the old saying goes. If your fundi is around, ask them to take the measurements with you. They will know which points are important for this type of item and can spot problems early.

Money matters

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include labour, any extra accessories and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

How it will look

Many of our customers in Nairobi like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Fencing & Security section to see a few styles side by side.

Buying in Nairobi

Nairobi keeps growing, with new estates, warehouses and commercial buildings coming up every year from Industrial Area to Mombasa Road, Syokimau and beyond. All this building needs steel, flooring, fencing and site equipment, and that is a big part of what we do. Our showrooms on Homabay Road off Enterprise Road and at Vision Plaza on Mombasa Road are easy to reach. If you are further away, you can still browse online and plan your list.

Where it fits best

This product sits in our Fencing & Security section, so it is mainly meant for people working on that part of the house. It can suit a family building a new home, a contractor running a busy site, or a farmer who needs dependable equipment for daily work. Think about who will use it every day and how often. Something used every day on site needs more thought than an item for a one-off job.

Simple care tips

Cleaning depends on what the item is made of. Use a soft cloth and mild soap for regular cleaning unless the product instructions say otherwise. Avoid harsh chemicals and rough scrubbers until you know they are safe for the surface. Dust and mud are common on building sites and farms, so clean the item after heavy use. If anything becomes loose or stops working well, ask a fundi to check it as soon as you notice.

The details we have

The short version is this: Guage 11g Wire thickness 3mm Roll length 18 meters Mesh size 65×65 Galvanized Barbed end/finish. That is what we can tell you for sure. We do not want to add things that are not confirmed, so you will not find made up measurements or big promises here. If you need more, for example the weight, the exact finish or what comes in the box, just ask us first. A simple question now can save you a wasted trip later.

Useful Kenyan resources

You will find general information about standards and building there. Please note that linking to them does not mean they have tested or approved this product.
