Secure your home or AirBnB with our smart locks. Unlock using fingerprints, codes, cards, face...

Choosing hardware is easier when you have the right information in front of you. That is why we have put together this page for Digital Door Smart Lock. Whether you are a home owner in Nairobi, a farmer upcountry or a contractor working somewhere in Kenya, the aim is the same: to help you pick the right item the first time and avoid the stress of going back and forth. Let us go through it together, step by step.

Look and finish

Many of our customers in Nairobi like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the hardware section to see a few styles side by side.

Shopping from anywhere in Kenya

We serve builders, home owners and farmers in Nairobi and across Kenya. Whether you are building in Kitengela, putting up a fence in Ruai or setting up a dairy unit in the countryside, the same advice applies. Know what you need, know your sizes, and confirm the details. Please note that this page does not promise stock levels or delivery terms, so ask us about those when you are ready to buy.

Take measurements first

One of the most common mistakes people make is buying something that does not fit. It happens a lot, and it is easy to avoid. Measure the old item if you are replacing one, and measure the space if it is a new installation. Keep all your measurements in the same unit, either centimetres or millimetres. Then compare them with what the listing says. When in doubt, send us your numbers and we will help you check.

Money matters

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include labour, any extra accessories and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

Simple care tips

A little care goes a long way. Wipe the item down once in a while and keep it dry where possible. If you are not sure which cleaner to use, start with plain water and a soft cloth. Strong products like bleach can damage some finishes, so test them on a small hidden area first. Please note that this advice is general and is not a promise about how long the product will last.

Working with your fundi

For most items in this range, a good fundi will make a big difference. Show them the product page and talk about where it will go before they start work. Confirm what comes in the package and what extra parts, screws or fittings they may need to buy. Where the job involves heavy machines, height or electricity, use someone who is properly trained. Always follow the instructions that come with the product if they are provided.

Who this is good for

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our hardware range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.
