Colored Acrylic Sheets/Perspex for your project in Nairobi

Choosing hardware is easier when you have the right information in front of you. That is why we have put together this page for Colored Acrylic Sheets/Perspex. Whether you are a home owner in Nairobi, a farmer upcountry or a contractor working somewhere in Kenya, the aim is the same: to help you pick the right item the first time and avoid the stress of going back and forth. Let us go through it together, step by step.

Price and value

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include labour, any extra accessories and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

Check the size before you buy

Before you buy, take a tape measure and note down the space where the item will go. Write the numbers on paper or on your phone so you do not forget. Check things like the length, width, thickness and how many pieces the job really needs. Do not judge the size from the photo alone because pictures can be misleading. If the size is not given in the description, ask us to confirm it.

Where it fits best

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Building Materials & Steel range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

Matching the rest of the job

Looks matter too, especially for flooring, decking and finishes that people see every day. Try to match this item with the colour and style of other materials on the same job. A shade that looks good on its own may clash with what is already in place. Remember that the photo is a guide and real colours can look slightly different. If you need an exact match, please ask us to confirm the finish first.

Keeping it clean

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

Shopping from anywhere in Kenya

Nairobi keeps growing, with new estates, warehouses and commercial buildings coming up every year from Industrial Area to Mombasa Road, Syokimau and beyond. All this building needs steel, flooring, fencing and site equipment, and that is a big part of what we do. Our showrooms on Homabay Road off Enterprise Road and at Vision Plaza on Mombasa Road are easy to reach. If you are further away, you can still browse online and plan your list.

Before the fundi comes

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the ground, wall or frame where the item will be used or fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

The details we have

Here is the description we have for this item: Available in different color's pendable and non bendable.. This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Standards and building information

Some buyers like to do their own research, and that is a good habit. Two helpful Kenyan sources are the Kenya Bureau of Standards and the National Construction Authority. You will find general information about standards and building there. Please note that linking to them does not mean they have tested or approved this product.

To sum up, take your time, compare a few options and confirm the details that matter to you. Colored Acrylic Sheets/Perspex is just one of many items we carry for builders in Nairobi and the rest of Kenya. Whatever you are working on, we want you to get it right the first time.
