Many people in Nairobi and the surrounding counties come to us when they are putting up a house, running a construction site or setting up a farm. 14g Mesh Size 80×80 5fts Height Chainlink is one of the products in our Building Materials & Steel range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Simple care tips

A little care goes a long way. Wipe the item down once in a while and keep it dry where possible. If you are not sure which cleaner to use, start with plain water and a soft cloth. Strong products like bleach can damage some finishes, so test them on a small hidden area first. Please note that this advice is general and is not a promise about how long the product will last.

Price and value

The price you see on this page is for the item itself. Remember to also plan for things like fitting costs, extra parts and transport. Writing everything down in one budget helps you avoid surprises. If you are buying for a whole building or a big farm, make a full list with quantities. That way you can compare totals properly and decide where to spend more and where to save.

Visiting our Nairobi showrooms

We serve builders, home owners and farmers in Nairobi and across Kenya. Whether you are building in Kitengela, putting up a fence in Ruai or setting up a dairy unit in the countryside, the same advice applies. Know what you need, know your sizes, and confirm the details. Please note that this page does not promise stock levels or delivery terms, so ask us about those when you are ready to buy.

Who this is good for

This product sits in our Building Materials & Steel section, so it is mainly meant for people working on that part of the house. It can suit a family building a new home, a contractor running a busy site, or a farmer who needs dependable equipment for daily work. Think about who will use it every day and how often. Something used every day on site needs more thought than an item for a one-off job.

Matching the rest of the job

Many of our customers in Nairobi like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Building Materials & Steel section to see a few styles side by side.

Fitting it properly

For most items in this range, a good fundi will make a big difference. Show them the product page and talk about where it will go before they start work. Confirm what comes in the package and what extra parts, screws or fittings they may need to buy. Where the job involves heavy machines, height or electricity, use someone who is properly trained. Always follow the instructions that come with the product if they are provided.

What you get

According to our product records, this item is described as follows: Specifications Wire thickness 2mm Length 18meters Aperture 80×80 Height 5fts. We have kept the wording close to what we received so that you get the facts as they are. Photos on the page are there to help you see the general look, but phone and laptop screens can change colours a little. If something important is missing from the description, send us a message and we will try to find out for you.

A quick word on sizes

Before you buy, take a tape measure and note down the space where the item will go. Write the numbers on paper or on your phone so you do not forget. Check things like the length, width, thickness and how many pieces the job really needs. Do not judge the size from the photo alone because pictures can be misleading. If the size is not given in the description, ask us to confirm it.
